Go Set a Watchman is set during the mid-1950s and features many of the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird some twenty years later. Scout (Jean Louise Finch) has returned to Maycomb from New York to visit her father Atticus. She is forced to grapple with issues both personal and political as she tries to understand both her father's attitude toward society, and her own feelings about the place where she was born and spent her childhood. An instant classic.

I didn't read Go Set a Watchman as soon as it was released, but gladly picked up the audiobook for my drive to work.
I read To Kill a Mockingbird during high school, and adored Scout's naivety and empathy. In the sequel, you meet Scout again as a young woman, Jean Louise. She is in her way to Maycomb to visit her father, Atticus, and the Maycomb county characters.
Spoken by Reece Witherspoon in her Southern charm, her performance brings the story to life.

Although there seemed to be many negative reviews on this in newspapers /TV etc., I found it quite okay and actually enjoyed it.
