This book is very well written and all information presented in this book is backed up with scientific evidence from credible sources such as respected medical journals and university studies. Some readers may find it a little formal as the author goes into detail with every claim he makes (not necessarily a bad thing).

I liked that the book also contained research about the benefits of and information about how to implement a Mediterranean eating plan to achieve maximum results from high intensity interval training.

I am pleased that this is a factual and informative diet book which provides with the knowledge to make informed choices to enable them to implement long-term sustainable lifestyle changes. It does not make unrealistic promises (eg lose a dress size in seven days). The book advises reader that it can take six weeks to see a result.

I have tried the training method described in the book and it does appear challenging but it is also satisfying to finish the workout. It does raise a sweat but after all it is only twenty minutes three times a week.
