This 168-page hard cover book with more than 100 color plates and a 30 minute documentary DVD provides an intimate insight into the life and working process of Anne Packard, an accomplished American artist and the generational struggles of her family to claim their artistic heritage. Award-winning author David Michaelis has written a compelling essay chronicling Anne’s life and career in Provincetown as well as providing historical background on Anne’s grandfather, Max Bohm, a respected turn-of-the-century Impressionist painter. Writer/producer Emily Lau, known for her work for the History Channel and the Discovery Network wrote, directed and produced a 30-minute documentary DVD that intimately explores the life and working process of the artist who has found national acclaim for her art.
