This book is probably the most comprehensive Australian Native Plant reference book that I have seen. It contains succinct notes about the plant's growth habit, natural distribution, how to propagate and cultivate. Perfect for any avid gardener or plants man and would make an excellent gift.

I was first introduced to Wrigley and Fagg's incredible book back in the late 80's, early 90's. My original copy, purchased sometime back then was feathered with 'Post-it' bookmarks, notations, asterisks next to plants I'd purchased and planted in the 3 different homes I'd rented over 25 years. The majority of the plants I sourced were based on their origins in the part of FNQ I once lived in. I have returned to my paradise now, and this latest update to what could arguably be considered the bible of Australian Horticulture, will become a part of my library once again.

Whether you want to rehabilitate your block of dirt with endemic or local natives, attract butterflies with particular plants, invite birds with a variety of shrubs, or are just curious about the diversity of Australian Native plants, this is the book you should add to your collection. 5 Stars.
