When I read the book 'awakened', I was mesmerised by the detail of the book. I have read all other 7 of the books in this series, and also 'The Fledgling Handbook', All of which were amazing. Zoey and her friends have alot in common with normal teenage girls and boys in some ways. Always overcoming obstacles with 'darkness' (in reality that would be 'the bitch of the school'), they're always haveing boyfriend/girlfriend drama, lying and manipulative people, really, its just like a normal teens life.

The Book has an amazing and original take on how the world see's vampires. The way in which it is written (Changing who's perspective the chapters are coming from) is great. I can not wait until the next book. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat.
