Reality TV stars Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian are no strangers to Hollywood drama: from unexpected pregnancies and quickie weddings to troubled relationship and sex tapes. This drama is reflected in their novel, a riveting fictional account of what it's like to be a Hollywood "It Girl". The 'star' sister, Kim Kardashian, has appeared on numerous television shows, including The Jay Leno Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez Tonight, Larry King Live, Regis and Kelly, The View, Tyra Banks, Rachel Ray, The Today Show and Late Night with David Letterman. She competed on Dancing with the Stars, was filmed on The Simple Life, was a guest judge on America's Next Top Model, and acted in Disaster Move, her fist feature film. The Kardashians are not only Hollywood celebrities; they are entrepreneurs. Their business savvy has contributed significantly to their fame and success. Kim has launched a self-titled perfume and a series of workout DVDs, which have reached the #1 spot on Amazon.com. Together, the sisters co-own several fashion boutiques, DASH and Smooch, and an online shoe company, ShoeDazzle.com. Though they are fashion icons, these sisters are not opposed to taking off their clothes: Khloe appeared in a nude photo shoot for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked than Wear Fur" campaign and Kim was photographed naked for a Playboy spread.
