    Foundation trilogy

    10/01/2012

Once you allow for the Temporary Suspension of Disbelief, the Foundation trilogy and its prequels and sequels is at the heart of Sci-fi through the last 40 years of the 20th century. Asimov writes with a fluidity that makes reading his stories even easier than he found it to write them, and his ability to think about and explain a given idea, and its social, political and humanitarian aspects almost as clearly. His Robots are legendary, but Foundation has a bit more depth.
Make the break with simple logic, and enjoy the ride, over & over!
