Synopsis

Legal practitioners, computer specialists in industry and electronic data processing managers already familiar with Michele Rennie's Computer Contracts Handbook will welcome this companion volume of detailed precedents for computer contracts. Designed to further assist suppliers, purchasers and their legal advisers, each precedent is prefaced by an introductory note containing practical guidance on the clauses, reflecting the author's knowledge and experience of the computer industry. Included in this new collection are precedents for: software conversion/translation and distribution agreements, software developments, agreements for provision of on-line services and the software author's agreement. Where appropriate, the author has included two agreements relating to the same subject, for example, one drafted for the contractor's benefit and one drafted for the client's benefit.
