A new office was established in Tokyo,nd RRP were involved in a number of competitions and schemes. However, theconomic recession hit, and many interesting and experimental schemesemained unbuilt. Included in this volume are over 40 projects arrangedhronologically, beginning with a section on projects in the Tokyo office,ncluding Kabuki-cho in Tokyo, one of the few projects that were built duringhis period, others falling foul of the Japanese recession. This is followedy a number of other projects from around the world including keyasterplanning projects like St Paul's and Dunkirk.
