    Oh the humanity ... or not

    Ok, so there are these vampire like things who are the dominant species and call themselves people and then there are the humans, known as hepers, who are little more than zoo animals, except for those who are roaming free or hiding - sometimes in plain sight. Gene is a heper in hiding, lucky lottery winner and heper hunter.
