Slow start but eventually got into it

I started reading this series after I finished reading The Hunger Games series. For me it took a while to get into the whole story line. But about a quarter of the way into the book I got hooked.

I have since read all the Vamprie Academy books in the series(in a month)and am now moving onto the spin off series.

For people who are not sure they want to read a vampire story I assure you it is nothing like Twilight. Sure it has a love story attached but for me Vampire Academy was more of an action packed book then anything. Had me on the edge of my seat many times.
