Well I know that every teenage book to movie phenomenon is getting high reviews but vampire academy is different. I know it sounds cheesy but I can really relate to it on a much more personal level than things such as The Hunger Games or The Mortal Instruments. I feel as if the friendship between Lissa and Rose is something that many people can tie into their own lives. The book sort of teaches us the importance of loyalty and being yourself rather than how wrong it is to fight to death in an arena. Richelle has done a fabulous job with the entire series but I think that this book, her first one, is a great start to the series and really captures the readers attention and makes everyone want to read more. I would suggest this to anyone who is 12+ due to some mature themes but other than that I thinks it's a book everyone can enjoy.

Ok I this is going to be full of spoilers so if you haven't read the book don't read this so this book is about rosemarie Hathaway she takes her best friend aka princess dragomir away for two years running away from spirit rose falls in love with her Russian mentor he is totally hot really really really really really HOT like totally HOT but he denies the whole realationship until the end and Lisa and Christian end up together as we'll it's perfect and don't forget to read all the other books after vampire academy and then the bloodlines series perfect books
