Roger Lee

Roger Lee is the author of the Iraq volume of the new Official History of Australian Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Prior to this, he was the Australian Army Historian and Head of the Australian Army History Unit from 1996 to 2016.

He holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales (ADFA) and is active in World War One study groups, including being a Vice President of the Western Front Association. The author of several journal articles, this is his third book.
