The unknown can be harmful living with an abuser. I lived with my worst enemy, believing he was my soulmate. He was a smooth talker with all his charm. He said all the right things and made all the right moves. Cheryl Jimenez was born in Hartford, Connecticut to Anthony Montesanto and Adeline Montesanto. As a child her dreams were to have a marriage like that of her parents. Her concern about other women and children was her motivation to become a journalist. Cheryl is a survivor of domestic violence for 22 years. Her hopes are that this book will help and direct other women to seek the necessary assistance to survive. Her sister is living with domestic violence.
