Go on, admit it, you had imaginary friends didn't you? Did you remember the eyebrows and whether they had wings, or could open doors, or had special powers?

Max thought of everything for his special friend Budo and Max is Budo's world. This story is about two mates and its pretty special, even when it gets scary because thats when real friends will come through, even if they are imaginary.

I loved this book! I finished it in about 5 days, I thought it was brilliant.

It's the story of a imaginary friend who's 'real life' friend has autism and is in primary school. I have a child on the spectrum and work with special needs kids and I thought this book 'hit everything on the head' from the Child's isolation at school to his Parent's looking for answers. Matthew is coming out with a sequel to this book (hopefully next year). Give it a go! I just bought 2 as gifts.
