Im excited to find out that there will be a sequel of this because I did feel a little bit that there was more to find out about the characters lives, in the past and future.
Packed with suspense this book tells the story of Gretchen Muller, a 17 year old from Munich whos family is in Hitlers inner circle during his early rise to power. She has spent much time dining with him going to his chateau in the mountains. But after meeting Daniel, a young Jew she hears a different version of her fathers death and she starts to question all she hears from this inner circle of early Nazism.
This is an addictive and insightful tale of the lives and struggles faced in the early days of WWII.
