Another wonderful Belinda Alexandra read! Had me captivated from beginning to end...
Sapphire Skies by Belinda Alexandra is a most interesting story of love, loss and war, told from the perspective of a young, female, fighter pilot.
The story takes place in both World War 2 and modern day Russia and the characters and their various stories are well drawn, as they come together to support each other in this historical mystery.
Any one who is a fan of Paullina Simons or Di Morrissey will love Belinda Alexandra. Her novels are full of strong feisty women who lead extraordinary lives. In Sapphire Skies we follow the story of Natalya, a fighter pilot in the war who is shot down and is never seen again. Well written, fast paced and with fantastic characters this book will buy you a few hours of uninterrupted escapism.
