Synopsis

The Memory Machine is the debut solo album from Julia Stone. One part of the brother & sister duo ‘Angus & Julia Stone’.

Julia recorded the ’Memory Machine’ in New York in late 2008, the album has been described as both haunting and mellow with dark undertones. The artwork for this is album is beautiful with old ’Hollywood’ style film posters painted for each of the songs that appears on the record.
Her song "This Love" also appears in the Australian film The Waiting City.
