Sins Of The Father

Synopsis

The story behind Australias most famous drug case. A reckless father, his dark past, an Adelaide drug trafficker and the Gold Coast beauty school dropout who kept her mouth shut. This is the explosive untold story of Schapelle Corby and how she took the rap for her fathers drug syndicate. The result of a three year investigation, Sins of the Father returns to the beginning of Australias most famous drug case, to a time when nobody had ever heard the name Schapelle Corby. Finally, the missing pieces of the jigsaw fall into place as we are led, step by step, through the important weeks, days and hours leading up to her dramatic arrest. Shedding new light on her long-held claims of innocence, this is the book Schapelles army of supporters do not want you to read. Eamonn Duff has been a journalist for more than twenty years. As a senior investigative journalist at Fairfax for more than a decade, he has broken many major stories in areas as diverse as sport, crime, politics and national security.

    The Sins of The Father

    26/11/2011

Eamonn Duff's criminal informant, Malcolm McCauley, asserts in the book that the marijuana he was supplying was being sold in Bali (at that time), for $500 an ounce - whereas the United Nations Office on Drugs Crime, within their 2007 World Drug Report, quite clearly shows us that it was selling here in Australia for nearly $1,200 an ounce. The bizarreness of this proposition should be obvious to any sane person. Further, the Queensland Police issued formal certificates (and public statements), which prove Michael Corby Snr had no criminal record, and no connections to the drug trade. See sinsofthefather.net to access the direct evidence of that. Unfortunately (as both the author and publisher of this book know), dead men are barred from suing for defamation via their surviving family. Also, see expendable.tv/2011/11/col-chapman-interview.html for a gripping interview by a long-time media insider, and private investigator, who has worked on the Schapelle Corby case for years. He completely debunks Eamonn Duff's claims.
