Simon Flynn has enjoyed an eclectic career. With a genuine passion for science, he currently works as a science teacher, having previously been a writer, editor, and publisher. Simon has degrees in Chemistry, Philosophy, and Science Education, and his other published titles include The Internet From A to Z. He lives in North London with his wife.

Daniel Allen is a human geographer with expertise in cultural, historical and environmental geography.

He is also an affiliate member of the IUCN/SSC Otter Specialist Group.

Marc Allum is a freelance art and antiques writer, broadcaster, consultant and lecturer based in Wiltshire. He has been a miscellaneous specialist on the Antiques Roadshow since 1998 and has appeared on various other television and radio programmes.

Marc spent 16 years as a London-based auctioneer and has written and contributed to numerous books. He writes regularly for magazines and has a passion for playing the bass guitar and tinkering with large engines.
