This is the second book of Grant and Harlow's in their Chance series. Their journey hasn't been an easy one. They've had people fighting against them from the beginning. But through determination and love they tried to make it work. But when Harlow finally shares her secret with Grant, he is hurt, he doesn't know how to react. Harlow is afraid, with no other chance but to leave him, she needs to escape her reality.

Harlow grew up so sheltered. She never had a normal family and never had friends. Even though she was raised by her Grandmother she was her father, Kiro Manning, one of the worlds most famous rock stars cherished her; doing his best to protect his prized possession. Her half siblings never meaning anything to her father; she is the golden child. Her bond with her half brother, Mase is beautiful but her half sister Nan is the complete opposite of Harlow. Nan will hurt anyone in her path, destroying any chance of having a relationship with anyone, especially anyone related to their father. The dynamic of Nan and Harlow's relationship is twisted, Nan once dating Grant.

With Grant torturing himself daily over his reaction to one of Harlow’s secrets, his best friend Rush confides in him in another secret that will blow apart his and Harlow’s worlds. Finally after tracking down where Harlow had been in hiding, he is being back in the arms of the woman he loves. Grant and Harlow have a tough life ahead of them. Living life in the public eye has never been an issue for Harlow, but as the paparazzi learn more amount the infamous Kiro Manning’s daughter, they will do anything to get the story they are after.

When Kiro learns of the secret that Willow and Grant have been keeping will their love and relationship be strong enough to get through the one situation that could tear them apart forever? Or Will Grant be strong enough to protect Harlow from the one man who has always been there for her?

This books takes us down a path so heartbreaking and so sweet. The emotions that Abbi pulls out of her readers is indescribable. Tears and laughs were plentiful. Another fantastic 5 star read from Abbi! I never want this series to end. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series takes us.
