From the New York Times bestselling indie author, the conclusion to the sexy contemporary romance that began in Collide, about a woman torn between her seemingly perfect boyfriend and a dark, mysterious stranger.

“Do you know how scary it is to want something so bad you’re willing to change your whole life for it?”

Emily Cooper is ready to risk everything to be with the man who has consumed her thoughts and dreams since the fateful day they met. Unraveling fast, she can only cling to the hope that Gavin Blake still wants her.

Nursing his wounded heart, Gavin has cut himself off from society and retreated into a self-destructive, mind-numbing world. Emily isn’t used to being the strong one, but she’ll have to find the daring and confidence within to fight for their love and bring Gavin back from the edge—even if it means losing herself to their all-consuming, pulse-pounding passion. A New York Times bestseller, Pulse is the unforgettable conclusion to the story of Emily and Gavin that began with Collide.

5 Sexy Amazing Stars!

After the killer cliffhanger of Collide, you will want to dive straight into Pulse. Whilst Collide was full of angst and frustrating at times, Pulse is filled with heartache and hope as well as being heartwarming and sexy. It is a beautiful story of trust, forgiveness, inner strength and the unconditional love of two passionate people. Gail McHugh has really outdone herself with this gut wrenchingly beautiful story that is Gavin and Emily's.

After some miscommunication between Gavin and Emily at the end of Collide, Emily is broken and only one thing can fix her...Gavin. Realising (a little late) Gavin is what makes her heart whole she will stop at nothing to win him back. With Gavin gone it may not be that easy to win him back...

Gavin.... Oh Gavin, he has had us swooning..... Taking a chance he opens up and bares his heart to the love of his life, only for her to shatter him. He needed Emily to breathe and now he is suffocating, what's a broken man to do, go away.

Their reunion is...the most unforgettable scene in the book. It's one for the memory bank, talk about HOT and STEAMY! These two deserve to be happy and life to be 'easy' after everything they have been through. There little bubble of happiness is popped as when one finds out news that will change their lives.

Gavin loves Emily with everything that he is and has, most women can only dream of having a mans love like his. While these two deserve an easy road to happiness after everything they have already endured, life's struggles, twists and turns make things very challenging for them both. In situations where most men would take off, he is completely invested in Emily. He certainly is one of a kind.. Insert swoon here... He protects her, takes care of her, cherishes her. But he is still cocky as hell, funny and did we mention too HOT to handle, we do get to see a sweeter side to him.

The rocky road isn't over for these two just yet, complications pop up, things become challenging after Emily finds out something that could change their lives forever.

They have grown as a couple, they have learnt to communicate, they are dealing with situations they best they can. It's refreshing to see how far they have come on their own and even more so together. The problems that come their way are heart breaking, getting through bad situations is easier when you have the unconditional love of your partner.

Gail McHugh what a talent you have, the emotion in your words makes you feel as though you are right their with Gavin and Emily. Once you start reading you will be hooked, sitting on the edge of your seat and not wanting to put the book down.
