It may look confusing, but it's really quite simple and you can cccess your eBooks from multiple devices.
As there are many different configurations of computers, there is not one simple answer however there are some general steps to follow which can resolve this problem for you.
1) Ensure you have Internet connectivity. You can test this by opening your website browser and using a commonly used website, such as a search engine.
2) Check your firewall and security settings to ensure that the Adobe/ Sony software is able to download. Many modems and routers also have firewalls operating that can block downloads. Consult your user manual for information on this. Please remember to restart your computer after applying any setting changes you make.
3) The downloads will come via port 8080 so in a corporate setting you may need to allow this port to ensure the download occurs as ports above 1000 are often blocked as a matter of policy.
