Like any electronic device the Kobo eReader can occasionally fall over and require some assistance. Let's see if we can resolve it.

You may be more comfortable with PDF files however ePub allows more flexibility on a greater number of eReading devices.

The urllink.acsm file is a token that is used to trigger the ePub or PDF download through Adobe Digital Editions or the Sony software, Reader.

If you are using the Angus & Robertson app and cannot downlaod your eBooks when you click upon the 'UPDATE LIBRARY', then you may need to explore the settings to allow the app to connect to the online database where the eBooks are stored.

ePub formatted eBooks from Angus & Robertson will work with Adobe-DRM supported eReading devices.

It may look confusing, but it's really quite simple and you can cccess your eBooks from multiple devices.
Are you sure? OK, here's how to do it.
To delete an eBook from one of the free eReading apps, please note the instructions below:
Windows-based PCs and Apple Macs:
Open the eReading app and right-click on the eBook that you wish to delete. An option will appear to 'remove this eBook'. After an eBook has been removed, you can 'SYNC' your Kobo or other eReading device with the app to remove the item from your portable eReading device.
iPad:
Open the eReading app and then hold your finger on the cover of the eBook that you wish to delete for several seconds. A window will appear containing details of the eBook. In the lower right corner of that window will be an option to delete the that eBook.
iPhone / iPod Touch:
Ensure that your eBook collection is viewed in 'List View' and then swipe your finger from right-to-left across the eBook that you wish to delete. This will bring up a delete button to the right of the selected eBook.
Android Devices:
Hold your finger down on the eBook that you wish to delete for several seconds. A window will appear. Please select 'Remove Item' within that window. Confirm that you wish to remove that eBook via the subsequent dialog box that appears.
