Synopsis

This collection aims to help primary school teachers assess children's understanding of key concepts, and their ability to use and apply maths. The different activities each come with key questions to ask, responses to look for and how to further support or extend the children's work. Each book in the set comes with its own colour, A4, wipe-clean postermat . Designs include game boards, picture stimuli and classroom maths resources. The books include diagnostic and double check assessment activites, reinforcement activities, and enrichment activities. The aim of this is to support formative and summative assessment, develop understanding and confidence, and consolidate and extend learning. This series is broadly linked to the National Curriculum levels, and the relevance to Scottish Guidelines and NI Curriculum for Maths is included.
