These sites are presented here as subtopics within the chapters dealing with the respective ecoregions, in order to combine a wider understanding of their ecology and their specific characteristics.The patchwork of the ecological quilt covering Argentina is here depicted, and through these pages the reader is presented with an overall view of the biological richness of the country.
