The Rolling Stones' record-breaking 1981 arena tour was expertly filmed at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey and at the Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona with 20 cameras by Oscar winning director Hal Ashby. Featuring the biggest Rolling Stones songs from the first 20 years, Let's Spend the Night Together gives, in the words of Mick Jagger, "a feel of what it's like to be there".

Dynamically capturing The Rolling Stones at the height of their world-wide success, Ashby's concert film highlights the interaction between the members of a great band performing 25 of their songs to sell-out crowds - celebrating one of the most impressive rock and roll tours ever mounted during the 80s.
