Financial Information
The Angus & Robertson Franchise term is issued in accordance with the term of the lease. The cost of this term is $50,000 + GST. Monthly fees comprise of a management fee at 4.5% of gross sales and a marketing levy of 1.75% of gross sales. Payment for stock and all other expenses is managed by the Franchise Partner.

The financial investment and working capital required to buy an Angus & Robertson franchise, will depend on the particular site. Costs will vary according to size and location of the store. Angus & Robertson will review the financial information provided by a prospective Franchise Partner and will expect that at least 30% of the purchase price of the business to be funded by personal equity.

Store Set Up Costs
The costs involved in a complete store fit out will depend on many structural details, the size and type of store. As a rough guideline, the cost can be calculated at approximately $1,500 per square metre. A typical store would be between 120 - 150 square metres.

Stock is your second major cash investment and this can also be calculated on a rough guideline of $1,500 per square metre, although it will depend on the time of year.

2. Information Pack sent / Application Form returned
3. Telephone screen interview
4. Discovery Interview / Disclosure Document
5. Due Diligence / Contact existing Franchise Partners / Visit existing Franchise stores
6. Behavioural Interview
7. Application Approval or Decline
8. Franchise Agreement issued
9. Its suggested to seek independent Legal advice at this time
10. Sign & return Franchise Agreement
11. Training & Induction program commences
12. Shopfitting contracts completed if applicable
13. Store Opening
