We are halfway through 2017 and already we have been spoilt by so many brilliant reads!
We've had the return of Arundhati Roy to fiction (after two decades) some intriguing new directions for our favourite authors Neil Gaiman and John Boyne, and some quality debuts by Australians (we suspect that Catherine McKinnon will be significant in Australian fiction for years to come). Younger readers will love the latest books by Aaron Blabey and Patrick Ness.
We thought it only best to pause now, and give our highlights for the year (so far), as there are so many more wonderful books to come. With delight we present the BEST BOOKS OF 2017 (so far). There’s a Top 10 Non-Fiction, Top 10 Kids, Top 10 YA, and a Top 10 Fiction.
How many of these favourites have you read?
