Sean Taylor is a children’s author, storyteller and teacher with experience of creative writing teaching in three continents. Two of his books have been shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize: Purple Class and the Half-Eaten Sweater and Crocodiles are the Best Animals of All (with Hannah Shaw).

Sean Taylor lives in Bristol. Khayaal is a multi-award-winning theatre and drama education company dedicated to the exploration of Muslim world literature and the experience of Muslims in the modern world for the stage, radio and screen.

Emily Hughes is an illustrator originally from Hawaii who now lives and works in London, England. When making books she uses pencils, her tablet, and a generous stack of paper.
