I never really fit in my age group. My thoughts and values were all wrong. I was a little adult by age seven and grew up with an old soul. I valued marriage, fatherhood, being a leader, and treating women better than they believed they should be treated. I had specific views on sex, life, and work. I valued the future and actively sought to improve my own and others. I worked diligently to improve myself and earn the title gentleman. From holding the door to tying my own tie, I wanted the necessary skills, knowledge, and morals to be the man I felt was best.
