Tammi Sauer is the author of many picture books, including But the Bear Came Back, Caring for Your Lion, Chicken Dance, Cowboy Camp, Your Alien (which earned starred reviews in both Kirkus and Publishers Weekly), and Your Alien Returns (all Sterling).

She is an active blogger (tammisauer.com) and highly involved in the children's writer community. Tammi lives in OK with her husband and their two children. Her local indie bookstore, Best of Books, in Edmond, OK, has named July 9th Tammi Sauer Day.

Dan Taylor has always had a passion for illustration and, since graduating with an illustration degree, has been working for many years as a freelance artist.

Dan works in a number of different forms, including traditional painting techniques combined with digital. He drinks tea by the gallon and lives with a mischievous little dog called Bertie.
