The creation of Iraq by the British, installing Monarchy that failed to thrive. The displacement of an entire community to Israel, the first settelement of the community in their new country Israel. The story of an enchanting family, the Murad family is fascinating. Bringing to Israel a heritage and pride that they want to share, which is the two Torah scrolls of their beloved father and grandfather, Rabbi Ezra whose name now is travelling with the family, to Israel, where he is rightfully recognized as one of the greatest role models that shone the community in Baghdad and will shine by himself in Israel with his two torah scrolls. The family never lost hope, continued to thrive in Israel and Canada. They continued to believe in their abilities and success. Indeed, the Murad family is successful wherever they relocated. Our stories are unique to us, the reader will find that our family stories are parallel to theirs.
