AND OTHERS as contributors to the volume. No edition from that published by Tinsley Brothers in 1867 to the present has presented the names of authors beside the titles on the Contents page, and the placement of Le Fanu's name on the front cover and spine on some early editions has led to further confusion. Unscrupulous and/or simply careless publishers have publishing this book as a collection of stories by Le Fanu for more than a century.
