Gene Luen Yang

Gene Luen Yang was the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature for 2016–2017. He has written and drawn many graphic novels, including American Born Chinese, which was a National Book Award finalist, as well as the winner of the Printz Award and an Eisner Award.

His graphic novel set Boxers and Saints won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. He has also written for the hit comics Avatar: The Last Airbender and Superman.

Dave Scheidt

Dave Scheidt is a writer from Chicago. When he's not writing comic books, he likes watching monster movies and eating snacks. He first started writing stories when he was ten years old and hasn't stopped since.

Sara Goetter

Sara Goetter is a Pennsylvania-born, currently Austin based cartoonist, where she draws comics with her girlfriend.

She specializes in drawing goofy faces and dumb jokes, and cries whenever she thinks about frogs too much.
