In The Golden Queen, Gallen O'Day was able to fight off the alien dronons and their golden queen, but now he discovers that he can no longer hide on his home world. Betrayed by his uncle, he soon finds himself an outlaw-forced into exile by entering the ancient world gates, where he begins a new adventure, seeking to save a world from a foe far worse than the dreaded dronon: a race of biologically engineered supermen.
