Humanity's greatest advances are not in its discoveries but in how those discoveries are applied to reduce inequity. Whether through democracy, public education, quality health care, or broad economic opportunity, reducing inequity is the highest human achievement.

It's clear to everyone how big and complicated the challenges are. But it's just as clear that people with bravery, energy, intellect, passion, and stamina can face big, complicated challenges and overcome them. There is so much more work to be done to create a future in which we can all live together.

People need to understand that the truly rich are those who possess a rich heart than lots of money.
