Billy and Jimmy have always been at home in the outdoors. They've hiked the San Francisco trails with their dad, and at ages eight and ten, have already learned survival skills; they've climbed tall cypress trees, collected driftwood, and made elaborate forts. But when an unexpected opportunity takes the whole family to Gabon, Africa, Billy and Jimmy have no idea what adventures are in store.




What begins as a safe, guided tour through the lush rainforest of Gabon becomes a wild journey, as the boys stray from the group and find themselves alone and lost, with no one but each other to depend on.




Will they ever find their way back to their parents, or will they find a home in the most unlikely of places?
