John Halden and Charles Buckley are part of "the stolen white generation" who spent their formative years at Fairbridge Farm, a farming settlement for English orphans, located 70 kms south of Perth, Western Australia. In the late 1990's John and Charles, both recently retired from successful occupations, decide they want to search out their natural parents. Their search unleashes a string of incidents which impact to disastrous effect upon themselves and their families. Their journey takes them to the inviting beaches and wineries of South-West Western Australia, Melbourne's lively Carlton, Sydney's Bondi Beach and Paddington and finally to the United Kingdom.
