Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and his Invincible collaborator Cory Walker put a fresh shine on a Golden Age hero! They don't make 'em like Keene Marlow anymore. As the Destroyer, Marlow fought some of the world's greatest evils and survived to tell the tale. But in his twilight years, Marlow has finally met his match: a bum heart. Facing impending death, he must tie up all his loose ends - which means eliminating all his grudge-holding old enemies, including arch-nemesis Scar! The Destroyer can cut a bloody swath through the underworld, but can Marlow survive long enough to complete his final mission? Plus, the Destroyer's rarely seen Golden Age origin... and more tales from his past! Stan Lee

Stan Lee (1922–2018) began his career with wartime Timely Comics, and staying the course throughout the Atlas era, Stan the Man made comic book history with Fantastic Four #1, harbinger of a bold new perspective in story writing that endures to this day. With some of the industry’s greatest artists, he introduced hero after hero in Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, and more, forming a shared universe for rival publishers to measure themselves against. After an almost literal lifetime of writing and editing, Lee was involved in movies and television via his company POV! Entertainment. He was Marvel’s chairman emeritus and best-known public representative.
