She seeks to motivate and encourage others to find their Divine Purpose. Juanita Ward graduated from Syracuse University. Traveled all over the world, allowing God to take her places that otherwise she would not have been able to go. Juanita's goal, entering high school was to graduate and become a McDonald's All American. She not only was the first girl in Mississippi to achieve this award, but also the first brother (Jerod) and sister duo from the state. She was a two-time Clarion-Ledger First Team All-State, and a three-time Dandy Dozen selection. She was also nominated for the Naismith National Player of the Year Award, Mississippi Gatorade Play of the Year, two-time Parade All American, two-time Street and Smith All American, named all American twice by the All Star Girl's Report, and four-time All-Metro Player of the Year.
Juanita was nominated for the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. Juanita is a 5X champion, WNBA and Professional Basketball Player, where she won most valuable player of the year in Bulgaria, won Professional Championship in Ukraine, and in Israel was the leading scorer. Her #15 jersey was retired, and she was inducted into the Callaway Hall of Fame. Juanita is also a powerful motivational speaker.
However, when God called Juanita to come away from basketball, without
hesitation she left what she loved to be with the one she is in love with, JESUS.
Juanita believes it is time for us to find our Divine Purpose and rise up!
