Even though Allie was mentally and emotionally abused growing up, that's not all. Allie was also loved and nurtured. Many people came into her life who sculpted the dimensions of her heart. She found deep meaning in the simplicities of life and savored the love she found in these places.

Still, as she matured, Allie found cycles in her life that would not go away. She knew she must face her pains and look inward at the places which did not bloom if she ever were to be free to live the life she always wanted. She needed to accept and honor her truth.
