The struggles against racism, capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy brought to life in Feminicide and Global Accumulation show how forms of violence that enable land, water, and other resource-extraction projects crisscrossing the planet are linked to a global economy that depends on devalued labor and nature. Among those hit hardest by this violence are Black, Indigenous, mestiza women and trans communities in the Global South who, in response to the mounting crisis of feminicide, have built an international resistance movement based on self-defense, as well as on land and ecological defense.
