This unique volume presents a debate between four of the top feminist theorists in the United States today. Seyla Benhabib, Judith Butler, Drucilla Cornell and Nancy Fraser discuss some of the key questions facing feminist theory. Nancy Fraser is Henry and Louise A. Loeb Professor of Philosophy and Politics at the New School for Social Research.

She is the author of Fortunes of Feminism. From State-Managed Capitalism to Neoliberal Crisis (Verso 2013) and of Scales of Justice. Reimagining Political Space in a Globalizing World (Polity2008).

She was one of the main organizers of the International Women's Strike in the United States.
