Most of my early life I grew up in southern Essex, near to the river Thames, adjacent to the East End London sprawl. Here I was to experience the horrors of the blitz during World War 2, this severely curtailed my early education, as where I lived the schools were forced to closed for fear that we would all be taken. I was eventually evacuated to the countryside away from the terrors I had experienced. On finally leaving school at the age of fifteen, I obtained an apprenticeship with a large drug manufacturer near to London, here I was to sent to college & one of the subjects learned was scientific glassblowing. Here I excelled & was to receive a distinction in this subject from the Institute of Physics, Hence for the next sixty years was to become research scientific glassblower, within a number of prestigious companies. I am now retired, but some years ago qualified to become a spiritual healer & currently work within an organization supporting people with cancer. As this book portrays I have experienced throughout life many intriguing & varied aspects of the metaphysical, without doubt making me a true believer.
