I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. The story kept me compelled all the way through the three books. After reading i bought a box set for my grandsons aged 10 and 17. These books are suitable for young and old. I have also read Dust the latest addition to the story which was also enjoyable

I remember reading the first book in primary school and loved it. So when the golden compass movie came out I went to see it. It really doesn't do the books justice. Definitely recommend reading all three!
