Dr Head's books and online courses are excellent, she draw on her personal and professional experience and a wide range of research and reading. She writes concisely to provide enlightenment and a more realistic understanding of ourselves. I thoroughly recommend this brilliant book which just seems to make sense in a busy, stressful world where we are so often looking for short term quick cures for illness instead of living for the prevention of illness. I actually read her second book first, "Tools for Transformation" which is more of a how to manual, but with the same concise down to earth, no nonsense, practical approach. Both books are brilliant and have changed my life for the better. I have a feeling that in future we will be hearing a lot more from Dr Carol Head.
