About the Author
Anna Milbourne has been writing children's books for Usborne for over eight years, and has had around thirty books published. She was born near the seaside in North-West England, but now she lives in London. She wanted to write books ever since she was a little girl, and so her job makes her very happy. She lives in a small house on the top of a hill. It has a roof garden from which she has a very good view of the moon, and also of the trains which go past the end of the garden

Anna Milbourne

Growing up on the Wirral and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface.

After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. In 1998 she found her perfect job at Usborne in London, writing about everything from curious penguins to trips to the Moon.,

John Joven

John Joven is a graphic designer and children's book illustrator from Colombia. He started drawing and painting at an early age (mainly big robots). When he's not illustrating, John enjoys spending time with his family and a very lazy pug.
