Immigration is nothing new in the United States. In fact, the United States is a country founded by immigrants. But is the modern-day immigrant experience better or worse than it was decades or centuries ago? Easy-to-understand language and dynamic graphics help to answer that question by offering an overview of the modern immigrant experience. First-hand accounts provide deeper understanding of why people emigrate to the United States, what they're seeking by moving to a foreign country, and the challenges they face when they get there.
