Julie Murphy writes fiction and non-fiction children's books about animals and nature, and has been published in Australia and internationally. Julie is a former zoologist and zookeeper who aims to encourage a love of books and the natural world in her readers.

Hannah Tolson is a freelance illustrator, originally from West Yorkshire and currently based in Falmouth, Cornwall.

She has previously studied at Leeds College of Art and Falmouth University, where she gained her degree in illustration in 2013. Hannah is inspired by bold colours, playful compositions and a sense of naivety in style.
